  1. Physical Examination 
  2. ‚Ä¢ Lymph node enlargement in the neck or in the region above the collarbones.

  11. ‚Ä¢ If a chest x-ray shows an abnormality, this does not establish a diagnosis until some tissue is obtained and
  12.   examined under the microscope.
  13. ‚Ä¢ CT scans of the chest and often the liver and adrenal glands.
  14. ‚Ä¢ Sometimes CT or MRI scans of the brain.

  16. Endoscopy and Biopsy  
  17. ‚Ä¢ Fiber-optic bronchoscopy with brushing or biopsy.
